Unfriends is a film that revolves around rape, cyber crimes. It is the story of a middle class man named Veer (Sahil Akhtar) who hopes to start his own business and is looking for an investor. A minister's son Vijay (Nafe Khan) befriends Veer through Facebook and decides to invest in his startup company.

To celebrate their new venture, the two left for Lonavala. On the way, they meet a girl named Mauli (Moushumi Biswas). After spending time, Vijay takes advantage of her and rapes her. Veer then jumps in to save Molly and the two run away.

Vijay, who belongs to an influential family, has become a topic of discussion in the city over a big controversy. Veer wants justice for Mollie and maintains her career. In the meantime, politicians make sure to make life hell for Veer and Molly. Veer also considers Molly as her life partner. Will Veer get justice for Molly? This is how the story moves forward.
